BULLET AND BLAST RESISTANT OVERHEAD DOORS
We offer a TURNKEY product to give you the highest quality product available. Our doors are designed to meet your specific needs. Our company will complete the drawings, submittals, manufacturing, delivery, and installation. From start to finish, quality is our goal.
ADDITIONAL OPTION: RAM SYSTEM
Our patented Ram System(TM) takes high security to the next level by integrating bullet and blast capabilities with an added forced entry prevention security.
This picture shows the Ram System design that can be incorporated into our sectional doors. This feature offers more protection from an intruder trying to ram the door open. This option will make it almost impossible for an angry mob of unwanted intruders to gain access to your facility through our door.
ADDITIONAL OPTION: EXTENDED WARRANTY
All our doors come with a 1-year warranty. We offer an extended warranty service that will come with annual inspections by our certified technicians to ensure a problem free environment.
DOOR SPECIFICATIONS:
PANELS
- Exterior layer will be smooth with overlapping seams for optimal security and protection.
- Panels are primed with a zinc primer and require field painting once installed. (Panels do not come with finish coat due to the extreme weight and installation process.)
- Thickness varies around 3 ½” depending on ballistic and blast requirements.
- Panels will meet the required ballistic or blast specifications.
INSULATION
- Panels to be injected with polyurethane R-19.5 or greater.
TRACKS / COUNTERBALANCE
- Tracks will run on reinforced track systems engineered to support door weight.
- Door tracks will be welded to steel embedments or fastened to concrete.
- Track Configuration Option 1 uses a rollback track system that requires door height plus 40” of headroom. This system is equipped with 20,000-cycle spring life components.
- Track Configuration Option 2 uses a vertical lift track system that requires door height times two plus 24” of headroom. This door goes straight up and uses a counterweight system with high-performance cycle life components.
HARDWARE
- Roller wheels are custom manufactured and equipped with American made ceramic sealed ball bearings for long life and optimal performance.
- ¾” solid hardened steel roller shafts.
- Steel hinges designed with American made brass bushings with a grease fitting located in the center to allow for serviceability.
- All hardware components treated with ASTM B633 Zinc Plating.
FINISH
- Panels will be primed only and will be the customer's responsibility for finishing color after assembly is complete. Panels will be primed with a zinc primer.
- Structural steel braces will be primed with a zinc primer.
- Hardware will be ASTM B633 Clear Zinc Plating
MOTOR
- Gear Head GHHP operator with manual hand chain
- Pneumatic Miller edge will be located on the bottom door panel with photo eye mounted on bottom inside of opening for safety.
- Hand chain will be mounted to the side of the opener for manual operation in emergency power outage situations.
- Interior three button control station will be mounted below motor or other convenient location and height determined by customer.
- All conduit, wires and electrical connections of opener and accessories will be customer responsibility and are to be made by a qualified electrician.
- Power options: 208/230/460 3-phase or 575V 3-phase
EMBEDMENTS
- Embedments, if needed, will be manufactured and shipped to the customer before structure walls are created. Bullet Proof Doorz will supply a detailed drawing of embedment locations to be poured in place during wall creation. If building is an existing structure, then a double steel plate system can be fastened as an alternate solution to embedments. (Poured in place embedments is manufacturers preference and dramatically reduces installation time)

Our doors are installed by our certified service technicians. Each component is handled with care from start to finish to ensure proper fit and a problem free experience with use.

Our blast doors are designed with your specific needs in mind. After you provide your required specifications (including, but not limited to, the standoff distance, charge weight and level of protection), our blast engineers will get to work designing you the door your project demands.
